| Smile, Please |

| Speaking of smiles reminds me of a simple and refreshingly effective way to meditate suggested by a traditional
Chinese pharmacist in Thailand: • Sit comfortably upright in a chair or, if you are used to it, sit yoga-style on the floor. • Close your eyes. • Breathe in and out comfortably and with awareness. • With each breath out, send a smile to someone who loves you. More smiling advice: Wear the faintest beginnings of a smile as you go about your day. You are so conditioned to smile when you feel good that a conscious hint of a smile on your lips can lift your spirits and reduce unnecessary tension from the outside in. |
