Gentle Neck Stretch
September, 2003
Lift one shoulder up toward your ear. Lean your head toward your lifted shoulder as though your shoulder is a cradle. Slowly let your shoulder release downward while your head and neck continue to lean. Gently return your head to upright and repeat the directions to the other side. Slowly nod your chin toward your chest and back up again. Cradle the back of your head with clasped hands. Allow your head to stretch backwards into your hands. Gently bring your head upright.
