The saying that it is better to give than to receive does not take into account that it is only possible to give what has been received. Great givers have a talent for receiving. They know how to receive more than they are giving. They recognize and accept gifts from the simplest sources: the sun, pets, friends, food. They say thank you a lot. Because they receive, they are able to keep on giving. It is better to give and to receive. |
